Preamble:

The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry established in the year 2010, aims to impart quality education in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at UG, PG and doctorate levels. This programme was tailored so that the students receives a sound knowledge in the aspects of organic, medicinal and biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis. The M. Pharmacy course in Pharmaceutical Analysis was started in 2011. This course were designed to provide industry ready professionals for the analysis and quality control of pharmaceuticals with appropriate skill set, knowledge base and practical expertise.
The Department offers excellent infrastructure with sophisticated equipments and well equipped laboratories and knowledge in the form of a vast collection of relevant books and journals. Moreover, extensive publications in national and international journals of repute, speaks volumes of the Department’s commitment to research activities.
