Preamble:

The Department of Pharmaceutics was established in the year 2011 to strengthen training in the field of Pharmaceutical technology, Pharmaceutical dosage forms, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmacokinetics aspects of the drugs as well as their dosage forms. The Department will strive with the vision to become a centre of excellence in drug development, with the objective of developing cost-effective newer delivery systems for better medication compliance. The M. Pharm program in Pharmaceutics was initiated in the same year. The Department has started Ph. D. in Pharmaceutics in the year 2017 under the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Any eligible candidates shall register their Ph.D. under this Department and carry out their research. Regular industrial training programmes are being arranged for the students in pharmaceutical companies.
